FURANFLEX FF1

RELINE A MASONRY CHIMNEY WITHOUT TEARING IT APART.

THE PROBLEM NOBODY SEES

Masonry flues fail from the inside, where nobody is looking. Heat cycling, freeze-thaw and plain time crack terra cotta tile liners. Acid condensate in the flue gases eats mortar joints, flue tile and masonry. Both leave the flue leaking. By the time it shows on the outside of the building, the flue has been leaking for a long time. A breached flue can put combustion gases into occupied space. This is a safety problem, not a cosmetic one.

UNTIL NOW YOU HAD TWO CHOICES

Tear it out and rebuild: opening walls, breaking out tile, days of work and dust through the building, and the largest bill on the list. Or drop in a steel liner: a round pipe inside a square flue gives up diameter you may not be able to spare, offsets and bends fight the installation, and every joint is a place corrosion can start.

HOW FURANFLEX GOES IN

1. We sweep and prep the flue. The chimney is cleaned and the connection points are opened up.
2. A soft liner goes in deflated. It feeds up the existing flue and follows every offset and bend.
3. Steam inflates and cures it. Under pressure and heat, the composite hardens against the masonry.
4. It sets hard as a single piece. One seamless liner, no joints, bonded to the chimney you already have.
Most chimneys are finished in a single day.

WHAT YOU GET

UL 1777 — Listed for venting Category I gas and oil fired appliances.
25 years — Warranty on FuranFlex FF1.
No joints — One continuous liner with nothing to corrode at a seam.
330 ft — Maximum straight run; longer when bonded to the chimney wall.
It keeps the full diameter of your existing flue with no downsizing, handles offsets, bends and twists without demolition, and stabilizes the existing masonry structure from the inside out. The technology is proven over 25 years in Europe and Asia, including historic landmark buildings.

WHERE IT FITS

Masonry chimneys with cracked or failing flue tiles. Gas and oil fired boilers and furnaces. Apartment, condo and lodge boiler flues. Hotels, schools and commercial buildings.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Do you have to open up my walls?
No. The liner goes in through the existing openings and cures in place. That is the whole point of the product.
How long will my building be disrupted?
Most installations are done in a day. There is no demolition and very little mess.
Will I lose flue capacity?
No. FuranFlex uses the full cross-section of the existing flue rather than dropping a smaller round pipe inside it.
My chimney has a bend in it. Is that a problem?
No — it is the reason this product exists. FuranFlex follows offsets, bends and twists that a rigid liner cannot negotiate.
What is the warranty?
25 years on FuranFlex FF1.
My chimney has cracked flue tiles. Can this fix it?
Yes — relining is the repair for a failed tile liner. The new liner restores a continuous, sealed flue inside your existing chimney, with no demolition.
