CHIMNEY RELINING IN THE GALLATIN VALLEY
A chimney liner is the only thing standing between the fire and the rest of your building. When it fails, heat and combustion gases reach places they were never meant to reach. Relining is how we fix that — without rebuilding your chimney.
HOW YOU KNOW A LINER HAS FAILED
Cracked, gapped or missing flue tiles. Pieces of tile in the firebox or at the cleanout. White staining, damp patches or crumbling mortar on the chimney. Smoke or odor entering the room. Or a Level 2 inspection that came back with a liner defect.
You will not see most of this from the ground. Our certified technicians find it with a camera during a Level 2 inspection.
406Chimney installs both FuranFlex composite liners and stainless steel liners. The right one depends on the chimney, the appliance and the condition of the flue — and that call gets made at the assessment, not from a brochure. Cracked or missing flue tiles are exactly what relining repairs. The new liner restores the flue inside the chimney you already have, without rebuilding it.
FURANFLEX COMPOSITE LINER
A liner that goes in soft and cures hard inside your existing flue. Seamless — no joints anywhere in the run. It keeps the full diameter of the flue, follows offsets and bends that stop a rigid pipe, and carries a 25-year warranty. Learn about FuranFlex →
STAINLESS STEEL LINER
Rigid or flexible pipe fed down the flue. Fast to install, with a long track record and a manufacturer warranty. Learn about stainless liners →
FuranFlex composite: cured in place, no demolition, one day on site, keeps the full existing flue diameter, handles offsets, 25-year warranty. Stainless steel: rigid or flexible pipe, no demolition, one day on site, flue reduced to pipe size, limited on offsets, manufacturer warranty.
WHAT AN ASSESSMENT INVOLVES
We inspect the flue with a camera, measure it, photograph what we find, and give you a written recommendation and price. If the liner is sound, we will tell you that too. After the assessment is complete, you will be provided a multi-page industry standard report.
