INDUSTRIAL FLUE AND STACK LINING
An industrial stack fails the same way a residential chimney does — acid attack from the inside — except the consequences are production downtime, a shutdown you did not schedule, and a rebuild bid with a number on it nobody wants to sign. Relining from the inside avoids all three.
For building boiler flues — hotels, condos, schools — see commercial boiler flue lining.
WHY COMPOSITE LINING WORKS ON INDUSTRIAL STACKS
High corrosion resistance. The problem in most industrial flues is chemical, not thermal. Condensate carrying sulphuric, nitric or hydrochloric acid is what destroys masonry and steel over time. This is what the material is for.
No demolition, no scaffold, no shutdown. The liner is installed through existing access and cured in place. That is the whole economic argument: the alternative is taking the stack — and whatever it serves — out of service.
Large diameters and long runs. Available in a wide range of diameters, seamless, with no joints to corrode. Up to 330 feet as a straight liner, and longer bonded to the existing structure.
Structural benefit. A cured composite liner stabilizes the existing masonry from the inside out rather than simply passing through it.
EVERY INDUSTRIAL JOB IS ENGINEERED
Industrial venting is not a catalogue purchase. Fuel, flue gas chemistry, temperature, draft and appliance category all change what the right product is — and some industrial applications fall outside the standard gas-and-oil listing. We engineer these with the manufacturer's technical team, who provide design, draft and structural calculations for the specific application. You get a specification you can hand to your engineer, not a guess.
