Level 2 Inspection

A Level 2 inspection is more comprehensive and is required in certain situations. It is necessary when:

• there are changes to the chimney system,

• the property is being sold or transferred,

In addition to the components inspected in Level 1, Level 2 inspection also includes accessible portions of attics, crawl spaces, and basements.

• This involves visual examination, as well as video scanning or other means of inspection to thoroughly evaluate the chimney's condition.
